Narrative
On June 20, 1942, the first group of 1,000 Jews was transported from Przemyśl to the Janów Concentration Camp.
On July 15, 1942, a ghetto was established for all Jewish inhabitants of Przemyśl and area, 22,000 people, and the Jewish communal buildings, including the Tempel Synagogue and the Old Synagogue were destroyed; the Zasanie Synagogue and all commercial and residential real estate owned by Jews were confiscated.
Jews were given 24 hours to enter the Przemyśl Ghetto.
