On September 7, 1939, the German forces entered Radziłów.
In 1941, 200 Jews were shot dead and burned in the barn by the Gestapo Einsatzgruppe B Zichenau-Schroettersburg under SS-Obersturmführer Hermann Schaper.
Menachem Finkielsztejn cites the "pogrom broke out on July 7, 1941, and – 1,500 local and refugee Jews were burned in a barn."
A Polish monument on the outskirts of Radziłów cites: "In August 1941 fascists murdered 800 persons of Jewish descent, 500 of them were burned alive in a barn."
