Myrna Wertheimer developed and chaired the National Council of Jewish Women's Essex County, NJ, Section's Teen Dating Abuse Project and serves on its operating and education committees.
She is a founding member of the Rachel Coalition, a non-profit domestic violence service agency and chair of its Speaker's Bureau
She has been a member of NCJW's national domestic violence task force, consulting on teen dating abuse for its StoP (Strategies to Prevent Domestic Violence) initiative.
