After a short stay in Atlit Detention Camp, Akiva Warszawczyk was released and taken to kibbutz Eilon, where, , after a tireless and difficult trail through Russia and Europe, he was reunited with his wife, Aviva, whom he had not seen since 1938, and his seven years old daughter, Ilana, who had been born during his absence.
