Narrative
in August 1946, UNRRA designated the Kloster Indersdorf camp, which functioned as an international youth shelter in the twelfth-century monastery and former girls' boarding school, as a Jewish children's center.
There were three DP children’s centres at Kloster Indersdorf:
1. led by UNRRA Team 182,whose Principal Welfare Officer was Greta Fischer.
2. the ‘Jewish Children’s Kloster Indersdorf Centre’, was led by UNRRA Team 1066 and contained kibbutz organisations from Poland and Hungary.
3. led by the IRO and Kibbutz Dror.
Narrative
On June 30, 1949, Kloster Indersdorf closed.
