Narrative
In 1916, by members of haShomer השומר founded kibbutz Kfar Giladi קיבוץ כפר גלעדי on land owned by the Jewish Colonization Association.
The kibbutz was named after Israel Giladi, one of the founders of haShomer השומר.
Narrative
On March 1, 1920, Shia Arabs, from Jabal Amil in southern Lebanon, attacked Tel Hai תל חי, and eight Jews were killed.
They were buried in two common graves in Kfar Giladi כפר גלעדי, and both Tel Hai תל חי and Kfar Giladi כפר גלעדי were temporarily abandoned, until the settlers returned ten months later.
In 1926, Tel Hai תל חי was absorbed into Kfar Giladi כפר גלעדי.

Kibbutz Kfar Giladi קיבוץ כפר-גלעדי, close to the northern border, served as the departure point for activities of the Hulia חוליה היבשתית, and the gathering place for convoys immigrants entering Palestine by land.

During Operation Agatha Black Sabbath, British military forces cordoned off kibbutz Kfar Giladi קיבוץ כפר גלעדי, and when the soldiers broke in, the kibbutz members displayed passive resistance.
