Narrative
On September 11, 1936, kibbutz Hulata קיבוץ חולתה was founded by haMehnot haOlim pioneer youth group members from Tel Hai and Yesud haMaaleh.
Hulata began as a fishing village, and when Lake Hula was drained in the 1950s to free up arable land, Hulata turned to farming.
