In 1952, kibbutz Givat Haim קיבוץ גבעת חיים split into two separate groups, and the members of kibbutz Givat Haim Meuchad קיבוץ גבעת חיים, stayed on the kibbutz's land, and remained in the United Kibbutz Movement קיבוץ המאוחד. while kibbutz Givat Haim Ichud קיבוץ גבעת חיים איחוד, was established nearby and joined the Union of the Kvutzot and the Kibbutzim איחוד הקבוצות והקיבוצים.
