Narrative
The Haganah הגנה and Palmach פלמ"ח in Tel Aviv, in a joint operation, Operation Nachshon מבצע נחשון or Wingate Night, to secure SS Wingate וינגייט's arrival, and break the British embargo.
On March 25, 1946, forces from the Tel Aviv Field Corps, and the 2nd and 4th Palmach Battalions, spread across Tel Aviv.
A Palmach פלמ"ח squad lined up on rehov Marmorak רח' מרמורק, to block the access to the shore.
In the exchange of fire, Bracha Fuld and the British Squad Commander were killed; and Ovad Rabinovitch and Achiezer Goldin were wounded.

On the night of March 25/26, 1946, Kismet Adalia, alias SS Wingate וינגייט was intercepted by HMS Chevron, and taken to Haifa חיפה.
