Narrative
Joe Birnbaum, and brother Dave, worked with a partner in a pharmacy.
The two brothers went out on their own, and opened Birn's Pharmacy, on Villeneuve (east of Park Avenue.
They were able to open a second Birn's Pharmacy, on Bernard and Querbes, in Outremont.
They eventually sold the pharmacy on Villeneuve Street (the building is still there, and it is still a pharmacy, 'Shore's Pharmacy'), and they opened anothe Birn's Pharmacy on Graham Boulevard, at the corner of Rockland (across from what, at that time, were the Seven-Up bottling plant and Laniel Amusement).
