On the night ofAugust 25-26, 1942, a Rafle of foreign Jews was carried out by the French police and gendarmerie of Vénissieux.
Narrative
On August 28, 1942, 167 Jews interned in Fort Barraux were transferred to the Vénissieux regional center, and 129 of the prisoners were transported to camps outside France.
