Launched: November 30, 1928.
She left Halifax on December 12, 1928.
Dimensions 420 ft. 3 in. x 60 ft. 2 in. x 30 ft. 2 in. on a draft of 23 ft.
Capacity: 8,194 gross tons, 4,936 net tons
HMS Lady Rodney was one of five famous "Lady" ships that sailed from Canada., of which, Lady Nelson was the first.
The "Lady" ships were trim, yacht-like vessels, the result of a trade agreement, sailing between Canada and the Caribbean.
