This doll celebrated my joining of group of alternative health practioners in Nova Scotia. It hung in my massage office. It is in the form of a marionette. The golden strings represent the cosmic healing energy of the shamanic dancer. It is sculptured from fabric, the hair is cotton rags and the decorations are of bone, shell and feathers. The face under the mask is lightly sculptured to give it human features of indeterminant gender. The figure represent a shaman of neolithic Northern Europe.
