In 2002, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) was created, by the leaders of the Kazakhstan Jewish Congress, the Federation of Jewish Organizations and Communities of Russia (Vaad Russia), and the Association of Jewish Organizations and Communities of Ukraine (Vaad Ukraine).
